I find myself re-posting a lot of stuff from the “Americans
Against the Republican Party” and I wonder why? The Democrats won the election
Woody, so why the continuing thrust?
The answer is really, really easy. The Republican Party is
now engaged in a kind of warfare that boggles the mind, but does not surprise.
Unrelenting attacks at the state and federal level on abortion rights;
unapologetic support for guns, guns, guns with no shred of logic; passing or
trying to pass legislation at the state level to gut the Electoral College to
make is more likely for Republicans to get elected; stonewalling Obama when
possible, for example, still blocking his appointments from 4 years ago and
since; forcing the “fiscal cliff” crap on all of us when Congress is
responsible for the spending (not the President); refusing to admit that the
energy policies of the last years are working; refusing to admit that the
economy is getting better. The list goes on and on.
We have to really worry about the next 10 years, and hope
that the Democrats, the party of the People, keep in power. We may be screwed
if they do; we will certainly be screwed if they don’t.

I agree. There is so much to worry and no time to fix this plethora of problems associated with human abuse and ignorance (in many cases stupidity). This morning, I am wearing a t-shirt and walking out of my house with bunch of mosquito bites from being on soccer fields over the weekend,because I didn't think that I would need bug spray in January (not doing that again). As I am walking outside, I was in shock as I notice my car covered in pollen. "Huh, there is something wrong with this picture" thinking to myself as I am scratching those damn bites. During a coffee break with a colleague of mine I noticed almost every girl and few guys to be extremely tan. That's when I proceeded to ask my buddy to remind me what month we are in today, and his reply was "January, and are you ok"? I guess I am not OK.
Cancer cases increased by 200%, global warming is still a myth, human IQ is dropping (I have a theory on why this process is taking place), my car is leaking oil, and I am rapidly greying none of which the last two have any implication on global scale but are indications that me and my Ol' Betty-my car "are getting too old for this shit" - paraphrased Lethal Weapon quote.
And that is when I realize that this world is nothing but a huge orgy. In one corner we have the religion phonetics sticking their holly person of choice up peoples rectums; in the opposite corner we have the damn politicians doing the same but sticking their hypocritical shafts deep down peoples throats, and just to make it even more exciting people themselves stick it up to the mother nature or anything else that is even slightly different or proposes any inconvenience. At the end of the day we are all getting screwed one way or the other.
